  • Postpartum caregivers support recovery, infant care, and light housekeeping tasks related to postpartum needs. They are not a medical professional; any health issues must be treated by a doctor. Mama Castle and the caregiver are not responsible for medical conditions.
  • Outside of Los Angeles, services are provided as live-in by default. Commute service may be available if the caregiver lives nearby. Please consult with the caregiver and Director Rosa in advance.
  • The caregiver’s primary role is baby care. Cleaning is limited to the baby’s room and the kitchen used for preparing postpartum meals.
  • Meals are primarily prepared for the mother. Tasks not directly related to postpartum care—such as window, patio, or fridge cleaning, duvet laundry, kimchi making, guest hosting, or ironing—are not included in the caregiver's responsibilities.
  • Weekends and U.S. federal holidays are considered non-working days. If work is required on these days, additional charges will apply with prior agreement
  • Service charges follow the official rate list provided by the company and may be subject to change with prior notice.
  • Costs for meal preparation, baby supplies, and other necessary items are the client’s responsibility. If the caregiver makes any advance purchases, the client must reimburse the amount.
  • Service start times can be AM or PM. Each family situation may be different. Even if it starts late in the afternoon, it is counted as the service start date.
  • If a postpartum caregiver requests any unfair charges—such as introduction fees, unreasonable purchase costs, or other additional service fees—please report it immediately to Director Rosa or the company. Mama Castle is not responsible for issues that are reported later without prompt notice.
  • The weekly service fee is paid directly by the client to the postpartum caregiver and is based on a standard 5-day service week.
  • One week of service is based on 5 working days. For long-distance or out-of-state locations, service is provided as consecutive working days (e.g., 4 weeks = 20 days)
  • If the client is located in a long-distance or out-of-state area, transportation expenses or a round-trip airfare must be provided to the postpartum caregiver.
  • Start time may be adjusted based on each family’s situation. Commute service runs from 9 AM to 5 PM. Live-in service starts at 9 AM on the first day and ends at 6 PM on the 5th day
  • Please allow the caregiver to rest outside of working hours so they can care for the mother and baby in good health. Mutual cooperation is appreciated to ensure quality care. We recommend discussing any concerns or specific needs with the caregiver before the service begins.
